Raheem Sterling could facilitate João Félix's return to Chelsea, as Juventus shows interest in the English winger, potentially paving the way for the Atlético star’s move.

The return of João Félix to Chelsea, where he spent six months during the 2022/23 season, is one of the hot topics of the moment. Atlético Madrid is looking to finalize the crucial sale of the Portuguese forward, who is no longer part of Diego Simeone's plans, and help might come from Italy.

Raheem Sterling could create space for the Atlético player, as Juventus is looking to strengthen their attack and has shown interest in the English winger, who has been a target for them in previous seasons.

The arrival of Pedro Neto, who cost €60 million, forces the Blues to offload a winger, and Juventus has been gathering information on Sterling's situation in recent hours. Sterling is not the only option on Cristiano Giuntoli's list, as the Juventus sporting director has also secured Nico González (who will be released by Fiorentina once they finalize the signing of Gudmundsson from Genoa).

In addition to the Argentine, the Bianconeri are looking for a second attacking reinforcement, with Sterling being one of the alternatives alongside Sancho, Berardi, and Francisco Conceiçao. However, Juventus needs Chelsea’s assistance to secure the services of the Englishman.

In Turin, they are unwilling to pay the €12 million net Sterling earns per season and have proposed a one-year loan as a solution. Sterling, at 29 years old, still has a long contract with Chelsea (expiring in 2027). Last season, he started only 22 Premier League matches (scoring eight goals and providing four assists), and his playing time is expected to decrease even further this season.
