Xander Severina leaves Partizan to join Maccabi Tel Aviv in a €1.5 million transfer, marking another significant departure for the Serbian club.

Xander Severina, the Curacao international, is set to leave Partizan after just one year and continue his career with Maccabi Tel Aviv. According to reports from Mozzart Sport, Maccabi will pay €1.5 million for Severina, who joined Partizan as a free agent last year after parting ways with ADO Den Haag.

During his time at Partizan, Severina made 37 appearances, scoring eight goals and providing one assist. Last winter, he even temporarily left the club due to unpaid bonuses and signing fees. However, after discussions with coach Igor Duljaj, he returned and continued playing for the team.

This season, Severina has struggled to find his form, recording just one assist in 11 matches. The 23-year-old, who was born in the Netherlands, will now play under Serbian coach Žarko Lazetić at Maccabi Tel Aviv, who has already signed Nemanja Stojić from Crvena zvezda this season.

This transfer comes shortly after Partizan sold Mateus Saldanja to Ferencváros for €4 million plus 20% of any future sale.
