A wild night in the Champions League. Bayern’s game was delayed as fans struggled to find their way to the Allianz Arena, Brest is living a fairytale, and Salzburg shocked the Dutch.

Champions League, Group Stage - Round 4:

Sparta Prague - Brest

The French top-flight club Brest is making their Champions League debut and is now on track to reach the knockout stage! With three wins and one draw, they defeated Czech side Sparta Prague (in Prague) and currently sit in fourth place in the world’s most prestigious competition. Fernandes opened the scoring for Brest in the first half, and an own goal by Sparta added to their tally.

Sparta managed a consolation goal in stoppage time through Olatunji, but it wasn’t enough to end Brest’s fairytale run in Europe.

Bayern Munich - Benfica

The match in Munich began with a delay. The reason? Fans had difficulty navigating their way to the Allianz Arena after someone tampered with the subway signs, causing confusion. Despite the chaos, Bayern secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Benfica, with Jamal Musiala scoring the decisive goal in the 87th minute.

Feyenoord - RB Salzburg

RB Salzburg has been struggling both domestically and in Europe, but tonight they achieved their first Champions League win and scored their first goals of the season in the competition. Few predicted such an outcome, but Feyenoord fell 3-1 in a surprising turn. Konate scored twice and Guindo added a third, while Moussa netted the only goal for the hosts.
