Zvezdan Terzić, director of Red Star Belgrade, has revealed the club's impressive financial success in 2024, boasting earnings of nearly €95 million.
The Serbian champions have continued their upward trajectory under Terzić's leadership, setting new records for financial performance in the region.
“Red Star is growing as a club day by day, and this growth trend cannot be stopped. We earned €95 million this year, which I believe is a record in the region. No other club in the area has achieved this,” said Terzić. He emphasized that the majority of this revenue—84%—came from UEFA bonuses and player transfers.
Terzić highlighted the club's strategic focus on financial sustainability and competitive performance: “Zvezda has become a serious club with a self-sustaining system. Our youth academy and our UEFA coefficient demonstrate that we can maintain these results in the future. Our goal is never to lower the budget below €70 million, ensuring our dominance in Serbia and competitiveness in Europe.”
Red Star’s financial achievements reflect their ability to capitalize on European competitions and talent development, setting them apart as one of the most successful clubs in the region. Terzić's announcement reinforces the club's ambitions to remain at the forefront of Serbian football while continuing to challenge on the European stage.
