Luka Jović was the hero for Serbia in the second round of Euro 2024 when he scored in stoppage time, in the last action of the match, to secure a draw against Slovenia.
That ball has since been given a special place.
Hoping to be Serbia's hero at Euro 2024, Luka Jović shone for just one day. His goal against Slovenia in the final seconds of the game secured a draw, boosting Serbian optimism. However, after failing to beat Denmark in the final group stage match, Serbia was eliminated from the tournament, while Slovenia advanced to the round of 16.
The ball with which Luka Jović scored the goal has become a precious memory. Musician Miloš Simić, who supported the Serbian team at Allianz Arena, took the ball home.
In collaboration with Adidas, Simić gifted the ball to his local club, Borac from Surčin, ensuring that this memorable piece of Euro 2024 history will be cherished and remembered.
