Cristiano Ronaldo will extend his contract with Al Nassr for one more season, earning an astonishing €200 million. This will further cement his role in Saudi Arabia’s football promotion.
Cristiano Ronaldo shows no signs of retiring after his current contract with Al Nassr ends. Despite approaching his 40th birthday in a few weeks, the legendary Portuguese forward remains determined and focused on continuing his career in Saudi Arabia.
The former star of Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus is set to sign a new contract with Al Nassr, extending his stay by one more season. The extension will reportedly come with a new “super contract” worth an additional €200 million. This massive sum isn’t solely for his performance on the pitch but primarily for his role in promoting Saudi Arabia’s football ambitions, particularly the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
By staying active at the highest level, Ronaldo aims to keep himself in contention for the Portuguese national team. It’s highly likely he will play in the 2026 World Cup in North America, by which time he will be 41 years old.
