Real Madrid's fans are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Brazilian teenage sensation Endrick, but Palmeiras, the current club of the young prodigy, might have other plans.

The Brazilian outfit is considering delaying his transfer to the Spanish giants, originally scheduled for this summer when he turns 18.

In December 2022, Real Madrid secured a deal for the highly talented forward Endrick, with plans for him to join the iconic Santiago Bernabeu this summer. However, Palmeiras is now contemplating keeping Endrick in their ranks until at least the end of this calendar year.

This potential delay comes as Real Madrid is set to strengthen their squad with the addition of Kylian Mbappe this summer. Palmeiras sees this as an opportunity to retain their young star a bit longer. Sources in Brazil expect Real Madrid to give serious thought to this proposal, with a decision likely to be made in April. The future of 33-year-old veteran Joselu, currently playing at Real on loan from Espanyol, could also influence this decision.

Endrick has already made a significant impact at Palmeiras, with 62 appearances for the senior team, scoring 18 goals and providing two assists. He has also debuted for the Brazilian national team, showcasing his immense talent and potential.

🚨 JUST IN: Palmeiras have asked Real Madrid to keep Endrick until the end of the year.
