Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly separated from his partner of 30 years, Cristina Serra, though the pair are said to maintain an amicable relationship.

Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, has reportedly split from his longtime partner Cristina Serra after 30 years together. According to Spanish media reports, the couple, who have three children, remain on good terms despite living apart in recent years.

The pair first met in 1994 when Guardiola was a player at Barcelona. They eventually tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2014. The couple shares three children—daughters Maria and Valentina, and son Marius.

Reports indicate that Serra moved back to Barcelona in 2019 with one of their children, while Guardiola continued living in Manchester. Despite the physical distance, the two were frequently seen together, including a recent sighting at Christmas when they attended the theatre with one of their daughters.

Guardiola, who has led Manchester City to multiple Premier League titles, is currently overseeing a turnaround in form for the club. City have won their last three matches across all competitions following a difficult spell that saw them fall behind in the title race.

Meanwhile, the club faces uncertainty over the future of captain Kyle Walker, who has reportedly expressed his desire to leave the Etihad during the January transfer window. Both AC Milan and Inter Milan are said to be interested in signing the defender, with lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia also being rumored.

Addressing the situation, Guardiola said, “I said to Kyle, now it’s a question of the market. He is an incredible player with incredible physicality, and when he’s focused, he’s unstoppable as a right-back.”

He added, “He’s a top-class player. If he’s fit, he can play for one, two, three, or four more years as a professional. I’ve never seen a player with these physical conditions in my career.”

However, Guardiola made it clear that the final decision lies with Walker and the club. “If he wants to explore a move away, the club is going to explore, and he has to decide, not me. It’s not my decision. But he has to have an agreement with the club,” the City boss concluded.
