Bayern star Michael Olise recorded his 17th Bundesliga assist of the season, becoming the fastest player in league history to reach the milestone since detailed statistics began.
Michael Olise continues to deliver an extraordinary season at Bayern Munich, quietly producing numbers that place him among the most influential attacking players in Europe.
The 23-year-old French winger registered his 17th Bundesliga assist during Bayern’s 26th-round clash against Bayer Leverkusen, setting a remarkable record in the German championship.
According to statistical data provider Opta, Olise became the fastest player in Bundesliga history to reach 17 assists since detailed records began in the 2004/05 season.
He needed only 26 matches to reach the milestone.
After just 24 league appearances this season, the Bayern playmaker already collected 10 goals and 17 assists, numbers that highlight his enormous influence in the attacking phase.
The French international currently leads the ranking of players with the most assists across the top five European leagues.

15 — Bruno Fernandes
15 — Julian Ryerson
14 — Lamine Yamal
14 — Luis Díaz
What makes Olise’s achievement even more impressive is the comparison with legendary Bayern Munich wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribéry, two players who dominated Bundesliga attacking play for more than a decade.
Even those iconic stars never produced such assist numbers at this stage of a season.
Olise’s combination of dribbling, vision, and precise final passes has transformed him into the creative engine of Bayern’s attacking play during the 2025/26 campaign.
If he maintains this pace through the remaining matches, the Frenchman could finish the season with one of the most productive statistical campaigns ever recorded in the Bundesliga.
Such performances would also strengthen his candidacy for major individual awards and further establish him as one of the key figures of Bayern’s new generation.
