AC Milan is currently in the United States for a series of three high-profile friendly matches over the next ten days. New coach Paulo Fonseca has included 29 players on the trip.
Despite recent speculation that Luka Jović might leave Milan this summer, the Serbian international is among the players set to face Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Barcelona in the coming days. The first of these challenging matches will be against Manchester City on Sunday in New York.
Ahead of this clash, Fonseca's squad has been training in the Big Apple. Jović’s inclusion in the squad for the US trip underscores Fonseca's plans to utilize him in the upcoming season.
Jović joined San Siro last summer and made 30 appearances for Milan last season, scoring nine goals and providing one assist. After the match against City, Milan will play Real Madrid on August 1 in Chicago, followed by a match against Barcelona on August 6 in Baltimore.
