One of the most respected players of his generation in the NBA is set to acquire a minority stake in the French champions from Paris.

American basketball star Kevin Durant is widely regarded as one of the best players in the NBA, and this summer, he represented the USA at the Olympic Games in Paris, where he and his teammates secured a gold medal. This marked Durant’s fifth Olympic gold, more than any other basketball player in U.S. history.

It’s no secret that Durant is also a fan of European football, and he has previously named superstar Cristiano Ronaldo as his favorite player.

Multiple sources in France report that the iconic 'KD' has also been pursuing some business interests in Paris related to football. He is expected to become a minority owner of the French capital’s champions, Paris Saint-Germain, in the near future.

In recent years, more and more NBA stars have invested in football, both in the U.S. and Europe. Notable examples include Steve Nash (Mallorca), James Harden (Houston), LeBron James (Liverpool), Magic Johnson (LAFC), and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Nashville), among others. Slovenian basketball star Luka Dončić is also a big football fan.

Kevin Durant currently plays for the Phoenix Suns, and he has previously played for the Seattle SuperSonics, OKC, Golden State Warriors, and Brooklyn Nets.
