New Manchester City signing Savinho expressed his joy after winning his first title with the club, emphasizing that being coached by Pep Guardiola was a long-held dream.
Savinho, the latest addition to Manchester City, made his debut in a remarkable fashion by contributing to his team's victory in the Community Shield against Manchester United. Speaking to reporters after the match, the 20-year-old Brazilian winger revealed that one of his lifelong dreams was to be coached by Pep Guardiola.
On Saturday, Savinho stepped onto the pitch at Wembley in the 63rd minute, replacing Jeremy Doku. In his first appearance for the Sky Blues, he not only showcased his talent but also calmly converted a penalty in the shootout, helping City secure the English Super Cup.
“I’m delighted to be at Manchester City, to get my first title,” Savinho shared with reporters. “It was always my dream to be here. “I have to work day and night and let Pep decide. My dream was to be coached by Pep. Everyone who goes through him learns a lot of things. He makes you smarter in football. It has always been my dream and now I have the opportunity to work with him,” said the former Girona player.
