Kylian Mbappe is putting in his best effort to ensure he is ready for his highly anticipated debut with Real Madrid in the upcoming European Super Cup against Atalanta.
The French forward has been training intensively at the Valdebebas training complex, focusing on being in peak condition for his first official match with Los Blancos.
The European Super Cup marks the opening of Real Madrid's 2024/25 season, and Carlo Ancelotti’s squad is gearing up for the challenge. With Mbappe's debut looming, the spotlight is on whether he will start or come off the bench, though it seems almost certain that he will make his first appearance for the club.
On Saturday, Mbappe took to social media with a straightforward message: “We’re still working. Hala Madrid!” The excitement surrounding his arrival has been further fueled by the Spanish club's posts, showing the French star celebrating with teammates like Vinicius Jr. during training sessions.
Ancelotti, speaking about his new No. 9, expressed confidence in Mbappe's ability to adapt quickly to the team. “He has great qualities and I am sure that, given his personality, he will adapt quickly,” Ancelotti stated, already envisioning the 25-year-old’s impact in his dream team.
For Mbappe, making his debut in Warsaw for the European Super Cup is the immediate priority. Following that, Real Madrid's La Liga opener against Real Mallorca on 18 August and his first appearance at the Santiago Bernabeu against Real Valladolid on 25 August are on the horizon.
