Harry Kane’s record-breaking Bayern season draws praise from Fernando Llorente, who says the striker would fit any top club in world football.
Harry Kane is delivering the most productive season of his career at Bayern Munich, and the numbers speak for themselves.
Under Vincent Kompany, the England captain has scored 50 goals and added six assists in 42 matches, confirming his status as one of the most decisive forwards in world football.
His impact in the Bundesliga has been immediate, and even a packed Champions League schedule has not slowed him down. While injury could stop him from breaking Robert Lewandowski’s single-season scoring record, Kane has already secured a place among Bayern’s most effective signings.
Former teammate Fernando Llorente, who played with Kane at Tottenham Hotspur, believes his qualities go beyond any single system or club.
"He would be the perfect replacement for any striker in any team in the world," Llorente said. "When I was at Tottenham, people talked about Real Madrid, and I said he would be perfect, not just for Madrid, but for any team. He’s a player who does everything well."
Llorente also addressed concerns about Kane’s fitness, which have followed him in previous years due to ankle issues.
"He has it all. The only shame is that he’s getting older and has fewer years left. He also had injuries. I remember the ankle problems, but he’s still there scoring goals. That will never leave him," he added.
Kane’s form has reignited discussion about his place among the world’s best, with links once again connecting him to clubs such as Real Madrid.
At Bayern Munich, attention now turns to silverware. The club are competing for major trophies, including a Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain.
Individually, Kane is also in contention for top honors, with strong support building for a high finish in the Ballon d'Or rankings.
For now, his focus remains clear. Goals, trophies, and a season that is already defining his legacy.
