Fiorentina reportedly considers Igor Tudor as a replacement for Raffaele Palladino after a poor run of form, though the club denies coaching changes.

Fiorentina has hit a rough patch in Serie A, earning just one point in their last five matches. The latest blow came with a 2-1 loss to last-placed Monza, fueling speculation about a coaching change. According to Corriere dello Sport, the club has reached out to Igor Tudor as a possible successor to current manager Raffaele Palladino.

Palladino’s future hangs in the balance

Fiorentina’s next match, a home game against Torino, is seen as crucial for Palladino’s future. A loss could result in his dismissal, although sporting director Alessandro Ferrari has publicly denied any ultimatums or contact with other coaches:
"I spoke with President Commisso, and he wants to make it clear that there are no issues with the coach. We haven’t contacted any other managers. The group is united and confident we’ll emerge from this crisis," Ferrari stated.

Tudor’s potential return to Serie A

Without a job since leaving Lazio in the summer after a brief two-and-a-half-month stint, Igor Tudor remains a sought-after name. If appointed, Fiorentina would be the fourth Italian club Tudor has managed, following spells at Udinese, Verona, and Lazio. The Croatian also served as an assistant at Juventus, where he spent nine years as a player.

Fiorentina’s mixed season

Despite their recent slump, Fiorentina remains sixth in Serie A with 32 points, firmly in the race for a Champions League spot. The club’s management is hopeful that stability or a fresh approach can help them regain momentum.
