According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano and journalist David Ornstein, Erling Haaland has committed his long-term future to Manchester City.
The Norwegian striker has reportedly signed a new deal that extends his stay until 2034, cementing his intentions to become a club legend.
The new contract is said to include a record-breaking salary, reflecting Haaland’s status as one of the world’s top players. In addition, a massive buyout clause will reportedly become active in 2029. The clause is rumored to be set at an astronomical figure, making it accessible only to a select few of the world’s wealthiest clubs.
This agreement demonstrates City’s determination to keep Haaland, who has been instrumental in their success since joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2022. The striker has broken numerous records during his time at the club, and this extension solidifies his position as a central figure in their long-term plans.
While there has been no official announcement from Manchester City or Haaland yet, the reports suggest that the negotiations have been finalized. Fans eagerly await confirmation of the deal, which would mark another significant milestone in Haaland’s already remarkable career.
By extending his contract until 2034, Haaland signals his ambition to not only continue his dominance in the Premier League but also to establish himself as a club legend in Manchester City’s history.
