Manchester United falls 2-0 to Arsenal, with defensive headers securing the Gunners’ third consecutive Premier League victory.
Arsenal continued their winning streak with a disciplined performance against Manchester United, claiming a 2-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium. Both goals came from set pieces, exposing United's vulnerability on corners under new manager Ruben Amorim.
The first half ended goalless, suiting United’s defensive approach. However, Arsenal broke through in the second half with two nearly identical goals. Jurrien Timber opened the scoring, heading in a corner from Declan Rice. Shortly after, William Saliba doubled the lead with another header, this time assisted by Thomas Partey.
Arsenal’s victory marks their third consecutive Premier League win, keeping them seven points behind league leaders Liverpool. Meanwhile, United’s struggles continue, with the team slipping to 11th place in the standings. The defeat is Amorim’s first since taking charge at Old Trafford.
