Ferran Torres sidelined for up to 8 weeks with a right thigh injury, adding to Barcelona’s growing injury concerns this season.
Ferran Torres is set to miss around 7 to 8 weeks after suffering a muscle injury in his right thigh during Barcelona’s recent match against Alavés.
The winger was forced to leave the pitch after only 5 minutes, and tests later confirmed a tear in the biceps femoris muscle, ruling him out of action with Barcelona and preventing him from joining the Spanish national team for upcoming fixtures.
This injury adds to the list of Barcelona’s absentees, with Hansi Flick’s side already dealing with several other key player injuries.
While Dani Olmo is expected to return following the international break, and Gavi should also be back soon, Ferran’s absence will be felt as Barcelona navigates a demanding schedule in La Liga and Champions League.
