The young Brazilian talent Endrick secured a dream transfer to Real Madrid but is finding out firsthand how fierce the competition for places in the squad can be.

The 18-year-old prodigy joined Real Madrid this summer but has struggled to make an impact in Spain. He has not featured in the last four matches for the royal club and is yet to start a La Liga match from the first minute. Consequently, he has now lost his spot in the Brazilian national team for the first time since making his debut.

Brazil's head coach, Dorival Junior, announced the squad for the upcoming matches against Venezuela and Uruguay, and Endrick is notably absent.

“He’s in a period of transition at the biggest club in the world. It’s a process that will take time. The doors to the national team aren’t closed, and Endrick knows this. He’ll need to earn his place at Real Madrid to shine later. He’s adjusting to a new environment and needs time,” the coach explained.
