Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) pulled off a spectacular turnaround at the Parc des Princes, defeating Manchester City 4-2 in a thrilling Champions League encounter.

The match, which pitted coaching titans Luis Enrique and Pep Guardiola against each other, delivered drama, tactical intensity, and breathtaking goals.

The first half saw few clear chances as both teams approached the game with tactical caution. City’s Savinho came close in the 39th minute, while PSG thought they had taken the lead when Achraf Hakimi scored just before halftime. However, the goal was disallowed for offside, leaving the score 0-0 at the break.

The visitors struck first in the second half. Jack Grealish capitalized on a rebound after Bernardo Silva’s shot was parried by Gianluigi Donnarumma, giving City a 1-0 lead. Moments later, Erling Haaland doubled the advantage, pouncing on a loose ball after a pass from Grealish to make it 2-0 in the 53rd minute.

PSG responded immediately. Barcola dazzled with a brilliant assist, setting up Ousmane Dembele to pull one back for the Parisians. Just seven minutes later, the equalizer came in spectacular fashion. Desire Doue hit the crossbar with a thunderous strike, and Barcola was on hand to convert the rebound, making it 2-2.

The momentum shifted entirely in PSG’s favor. In the 70th minute, Joao Neves completed the comeback with a superb header to put PSG ahead 3-2. Goncalo Ramos sealed the victory in the dying moments, scoring a late goal to finalize a 4-2 triumph for PSG.

This victory secures vital points for PSG as they approach the final round of the Champions League group stage. Despite taking a commanding lead, Manchester City returns to England empty-handed, facing questions about their ability to close out matches on the European stage.
