Cesc Fábregas, now co-owner and coach at Como, paid for his team's vacation to Ibiza after securing promotion to Serie A.
Cesc Fábregas, the legendary Spanish midfielder, treated his Como players to a vacation in Ibiza after their successful promotion to Serie A last weekend. Following the end of his playing career, Fábregas became a co-owner of Como and later took on the role of coach, despite not holding a coaching license, thus not officially being listed as the head coach.
Fábregas kept his promise made during their battle for promotion, rewarding the team's hard work and dedication. Patrick Cutrone, the team's best player and captain, shared the news on social media with a heartfelt message: "Thank you, Cesc Fábregas," confirming the players' arrival in Ibiza.
Como finished the Serie B season in second place, behind Parma, with 73 points, 21 wins, 10 draws, and 7 losses, marking their return to Serie A after 21 years. Alongside Fábregas, the club boasts other notable figures like legendary Thierry Henry and former Chelsea player Dennis Wise in the management team.
Fábregas started his illustrious career at Arsenal, where he played 303 matches, scored 57 goals, and won the FA Cup. He was the captain of the Gunners and established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world. In 2011, he moved to Barcelona, spending three seasons there before playing for Chelsea, Monaco, and finally Como.
