Young stars are shining in the Bundesliga, with Jamal Musiala leading as the league’s best dribbler, showcasing the rise of exciting talent in German football.

For those worried that "technicians" are no longer being developed in football, the Bundesliga is proving otherwise. A new wave of young stars is thrilling German football fans, and one player, in particular, is standing out: Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala.

At the halfway point of the season, Bayern leads the Bundesliga table with a four-point cushion over defending champions Bayer Leverkusen. Eintracht Frankfurt sits in third, nine points adrift of the Bavarians. Among the standout performers, Musiala, at just 21 years old, has emerged as the league’s best dribbler.

Musiala, born in Stuttgart, has successfully completed an impressive 95 dribbles this season, far outpacing his competitors. Following him in second place is Florian Wirtz of Bayer Leverkusen, who has executed 80 successful dribbles. Third on the list is Borussia Dortmund’s 20-year-old English winger Jamie Gittens, with 70 successful dribbles.

In fourth place is Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig, a product of Barcelona’s famed youth academy. Despite playing just seven matches due to injury, Simons has managed 67 successful dribbles. Rounding out the top five is Eintracht’s 25-year-old standout Omar Marmoush, with 60 successful dribbles.

While Marmoush trails the younger stars in dribbling, his scoring form has been remarkable. He has contributed 13 goals, second only to Harry Kane, who has netted 14 this season.

The Bundesliga’s emphasis on nurturing young talent continues to deliver excitement, with these emerging stars proving that the art of dribbling is alive and well in German football.
