Dortmund’s scouting success could once again pay off, as top Premier League clubs battle for Jamie Gittens.
Borussia Dortmund is once again in a position to cash in on one of its young stars, with Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea reportedly interested in Jamie Gittens.
Following the lucrative transfers of Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham, Dortmund could now sell another English talent for a massive fee. The 20-year-old winger has been impressive this season, registering 11 goals and 5 assists across the Bundesliga and Champions League.
A free signing could turn into a €102M profit
Gittens joined Dortmund from Manchester City’s academy on a free transfer, and with a contract valid until June 2028, the German club is demanding €102 million for his transfer.
Dortmund has a history of making huge profits on English talents. They signed Sancho from City for €20 million, later selling him to Manchester United for €85 million. Similarly, Jude Bellingham was bought for €30 million from Birmingham and then sold to Real Madrid for €113 million in July 2023.
With Premier League giants circling, Borussia Dortmund could once again secure a massive financial windfall.
