In a recent Nations League match between Germany and Hungary, the Germans triumphed 5-0, with Jamal Musiala particularly shining by scoring one goal and assisting three others.

The brilliant 21-year-old offensive midfielder is a key player for Bayern Munich, where he has already made a name for himself. His market value is estimated at €130 million, according to Transfermarkt, and his contract with the German giants runs until the summer of 2026.

That’s not particularly long for a player of his age and caliber, leading to increasing speculation about interest from Manchester City, who would love to have him in their squad. Bayern, however, are determined to end the rumors and secure Musiala’s long-term future. The club is preparing to offer him a new contract soon, and Bayern’s president Herbert Heiner has stated:

“We want to do everything in our power to keep him with us for as long as possible. In my opinion, he could become the new Thomas Müller. He could stay here for the next 20 years.”

Musiala has already established himself as a key figure for the Bavarian club. Over the past two seasons, he has scored 30 goals for Bayern. In the penultimate season, he scored a crucial last-minute goal against FC Cologne in the final round of the Bundesliga, breaking the hearts of Borussia Dortmund fans and delivering the title to Bayern.

Born in Stuttgart, Musiala has a Nigerian father and a German mother with Polish roots. At the age of seven, he moved to England, where he was part of Chelsea's academy and played for England’s youth teams. However, he eventually returned to Germany and chose to represent the country of his birth.

This season, Musiala will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing campaign last year, which ended without any trophies. Legendary forward Patrick Kluivert sees him as one of the best in the world: “Right now, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, and Vinicius Junior are dominating European football, and I’m sure one of them will win the Ballon d'Or. These three are leading the new generation, but soon Jamal Musiala will join them.”
