Arsenal are tracking Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi after his prolific season in Belgium, with the 21-year-old emerging as a potential summer transfer target.
Arsenal are reportedly keeping close tabs on Nicolo Tresoldi, the prolific striker of Club Brugge and one of the most lethal forwards in the Belgian league this season.
The 21-year-old Italian-born forward, who also holds German citizenship, has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign, scoring 11 league goals — level with Thorgan Hazard as the competition’s top scorer — and 15 goals in all competitions, making him his club’s most productive attacker.
Tresoldi’s reputation has grown further thanks to decisive performances in the Champions League, where he found the net against heavyweights such as Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, and Monaco.
Milan dream, Premier League reality?
Less than a month ago, Tresoldi openly expressed admiration for AC Milan in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, admitting that he dreams of wearing the Rossoneri shirt. However, there has been no concrete move from the Italian giants so far.
According to German outlet BILD and journalist Christian Falk, it is Arsenal who are now seriously monitoring the young striker ahead of the summer transfer window.
Arsenal searching for attacking solution
Despite solid contributions from current forwards, Arsenal’s attacking options have not fully convinced. Viktor Gyökeres, in his first season at the club, has scored 15 goals and provided two assists in 39 appearances but has yet to reach the extraordinary level he displayed at Sporting.
Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus has managed five goals since returning from a serious injury in December 2025, primarily as a rotational option, while Kai Havertz is also back in the squad. The club’s hierarchy is therefore believed to be considering the addition of a natural centre-forward this summer.
Transfer value rising rapidly
Tresoldi joined Club Brugge last summer from German second-tier side Hannover for €7.5 million, a move that has already proven to be a major success.
His market value is currently estimated at around €13 million, but Brugge reportedly expect offers closer to €20 million for a player under contract until 2029.
An intriguing statistic underlines his season: all 15 of his goals have been scored at the Jan Breydel Stadium, effectively making him a formidable home specialist. His only strike away from home also came at the same venue — against city rivals Cercle Brugge, who share the stadium.
