Antonio Marin, a highly regarded talent, speaks on his move to Olimpija Ljubljana, sharing his ambitions and satisfaction with the club's vision and his role within the team.

Antonio Marin's first goals in Croatia have garnered significant attention, as Marin is seen as a player who was perceived as a major talent in Croatia, expected to follow in the footsteps of many great players who moved from Dinamo to top European clubs.

Marin did not end up transferring to Inter, Tottenham, Leipzig, or any similar big European club and had to settle for Ljubljana's Olimpija, where he aims to prove he is more than just 'a former talent.'

In an interview with the Croatian portal Germanijak, Marin summarized his first impressions after moving to Slovenia.

"We talked, and the sports director Goran Boromisa presented the club's plan to me, and I liked the idea from the start. Olimpija is an ambitious club, they wanted me and were ready to give me everything I need. After the first conversation, I decided to accept Olimpija's offer," Marin said, who also feels great in Ljubljana.

"The city is beautiful, the people are wonderful, and I want to adapt to the new environment as soon as possible. My girlfriend Petra has also joined me in Ljubljana, so I have no need to visit Zagreb," Marin shared.

Marin asserts that he has very high sports goals with Olimpija.

"I always want the most. Only high goals force you to prove yourself all the time. I want to end the season with a double crown and leave the best impression possible. Nothing less than this is acceptable to me," Marin said, who is also satisfied with the role assigned to him by coach Zoran Zeljković.

"We play in a 4-3-3 formation, and I play in the middle, in the space between the lines. This suits me very well as we have a lot of space," Marin added.
