Amidst his 250th match celebration, Andrej Kramaric expresses his intent to continue his career at Hoffenheim, potentially extending his stay well beyond the current season.
Andrej Kramaric, the Croatian striker, recently played his 250th Bundesliga match for Hoffenheim, marking a significant milestone in a match that ended with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach. Despite receiving multiple offers over his eight-and-a-half-year tenure at Hoffenheim, Kramaric has chosen to stay, reflecting a deep commitment to the club that has become his home.

During the post-match interview, Kramaric expressed his belief that he could play another 250 matches, signifying his desire to continue his career at Hoffenheim. "It was super fun for the spectators," Kramaric began, reflecting on the recent match. "I believe we deserved the win as we were the better team for most of the game, except for those ten minutes when we let a 3:1 lead slip."

This victory has positioned Hoffenheim away from the relegation zone, and if results go their way, they could potentially qualify for the Conference League. "We are six points behind. Our goal is to finish above Augsburg or Freiburg, to be seventh or eighth and to compete in Europe next season," Kramaric added.

Reflecting on his 250 Bundesliga appearances, he said, "I feel like I can play another 250!" Throughout these years, one of the main reasons for his prolonged stay, aside from the support of fans and staff, has been the sporting director, Alex Rosen, whose future at the club is uncertain. "Without him, none of this would have been possible. Because of him, I feel at home."

Pirmin Schwegler, a key team official and former teammate, also weighed in on Kramaric's future: "I have nothing against him playing another 250 matches for us if he really wants to continue playing that long. He will decide when his story at Hoffenheim is done."

As Hoffenheim's season progresses with upcoming matches against teams like Borussia M., Bochum, Cologne, and a final clash with Freiburg, the team remains focused. Meanwhile, Kramaric's commitment suggests he might end his career in Sinsheim, making him a staple figure in Hoffenheim's sporting history.
