Bosnian footballer Amar Dedić surprises fans with a humorous response about being a mafia boss when asked what he would do if he weren’t a footballer.
In the world of football and social media, there’s a growing trend where players answer fun questions for their club's social accounts to connect with fans. A popular question lately has been, "What would you be if you weren’t a footballer?" But the best—and most unexpected—answer may have come from Amar Dedić, the Bosnian international playing for RB Salzburg.
Like many others, Dedić was asked what he would do if he weren’t a footballer. He first laughed and thought for a moment before giving an unexpected response that shocked many:
"Probably a mafia boss," Dedić said, before going silent for a moment.
He quickly laughed and clarified that he was joking, adding that he would probably work in a bank instead.
