Serbian coach Aleksandar Stanojević has returned to Partizan as the head coach. He expressed regret over his previous departure and is committed to leading the club until 2027.

Serbian coach Aleksandar Stanojević has returned to Partizan as the head coach. One of the beloved coaches from Humska, Stanojević is back after two years and will lead the black-and-whites until 2027.

Today, he was introduced in the press room at Humska by the club's sports director Ivica Kralj.

"It is my pleasure to introduce the new head coach, if there is any need to introduce Sale Stanojević. You all know his coaching qualities. It is my duty to wish him luck on behalf of all of us at the club. We will all need it, and I have no doubt that the results will be as we desire," said Kralj.

Stanojević had no hesitation when he received the call from Partizan.

"Here I am again. We meet and cooperate once more. You are mostly interested in the reason, and that is because I didn't finish the job I started. I left at a moment where I believe I made a mistake. I regret leaving. I have a big challenge to finish the job. Like any coach, I have ambition and challenge. This is a big challenge for me. When Partizan calls, you have to think about it. I had no idea I would return, but a few days ago, we got in touch. When Partizan calls, you have to consider it. In our conversations, there were assurances that we would be strengthened in all aspects of the club, both in the player and management cadre. I understood the seriousness of Partizan's intent to move forward. That's why I signed a three-year contract because I think it takes time to accomplish certain things. This time, I'm going all the way. All together, I hope with as many fans as possible, in a tough and true fight," stated Stanojević.

At Humska, work is being done on reinforcements.

"We need reinforcements in every sense of the word. I hope I was clear. That's why we discussed everything. When you come a second time, we want to elevate to a higher level. I progressed in Turkey; I am a better coach than I was. I received assurances that we would strengthen at all levels. That was one of the three reasons I returned," said Stanojević.

Upon leaving Humska, Stanojević had stated he would not return to Serbian football.

"I am not satisfied with the situation in Serbian football even now. I have to do my job. I want to focus on the team and the field, and only on what is mine. That is the most important thing for a coach."

The black-and-whites missed the support of the fans.

"We all crave the support of the fans. We do all this for them. It is clear that support means everything to everyone and that every fan is important to us. Nađ and Duljaj are club legends. Nađ is a great Partizan man who has been here for a long time. He doesn't need any commentary; he has given a lot to Partizan and stabilized the team. I have great respect for him, as well as for Duljaj. There were times when we played poorly, and they whistled at us. Our fans are a special emotion. We have to show ourselves, and I want to prove myself to the fans, just like this team," concluded Stanojević.
