The agent of Canadian star Alphonso Davies has addressed reports in the Spanish media claiming a deal has already been struck for a transfer to Real Madrid. Bayern's position remains precarious.
Journalists from Marca reported today that Davies has allegedly agreed to join Real Madrid at the end of the season. With his contract at Bayern expiring next summer, Davies could leave as a free agent. However, his agent has denied the claims while confirming interest from multiple clubs.
"It's not true that Alphonso has an agreement with Real Madrid. What is true is that we have many different options, and Bayern is one of them," the agent stated.
Bayern Munich has made several offers to extend Davies' contract with improved terms, but they have failed to convince the 24-year-old left-back. With January approaching, he will soon be free to negotiate with other clubs. Real Madrid is reportedly eager to finalize a deal as early as 2025.
Losing Davies would be a significant blow for Bayern. Under coach Vincent Kompany, the Canadian has been in excellent form, contributing to the team's dominant run in the Bundesliga this season.
