AC Milan celebrates its 125th anniversary with a special jersey honoring its rich history. The retro goalkeeper kit, worn by Mike Maignan, pays tribute to Milan's early days.
AC Milan and its sponsor Puma have presented a special edition jersey in honor of the club's 125th anniversary, which will be worn during their home match against Genoa on December 15th. The jersey was officially revealed during an exclusive event held yesterday at the club's flagship store on Via Dante.
Franco Baresi, Milan’s honorary vice president and one of its all-time greats, shared his thoughts on the milestone jersey:
"This jersey reflects the soul of Milan—its passion, its history, and its vision for the future. As someone who has represented this club for 50 years, this milestone is a moment of celebration and unity for the entire Rossoneri family," said Baresi during the unveiling.

Design that embraces tradition
The outfield players' jersey is entirely red and black, free from modern embellishments, and features a historic crest chosen by fans through a vote on Milan's official website. The clean, timeless design has already garnered widespread praise from the fanbase.
However, the real attention-grabber is the goalkeeper kit, which goalkeeper Mike Maignan will wear. The all-black jersey pays homage to the designs worn by goalkeepers in the early days of Milan’s illustrious history.
The anniversary crest, selected by supporters, adds a further touch of nostalgia and significance to the jersey, symbolizing a bridge between the club’s storied past and its ambitions for the future.
