French striker Karim Benzema secured another victory for Al Ittihad, netting the goal in an unusual manner.
The sixth round of the Saudi Arabian championship began with a match between Al Akhdoud and Al Ittihad. Until today, Al Ittihad had a perfect record with five wins in five matches, and now they boast six wins in six games.
The credit goes to French forward Karim Benzema, a Ballon d'Or winner, who scored the only goal of the match in the 72nd minute. The former Real Madrid star managed to score with his knee after an opponent almost blocked the ball!
This marks Benzema's third league goal this season. Currently, the top scorer in the league is Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored six goals in five matches for Al Nassr.
