Vojvodina's striker, Jonathan Bolingi, has been discharged from the hospital after a month.
The footballer from the Democratic Republic of Congo had been receiving hospital treatment since mid-September when he returned in poor health from the international break. Upon his arrival, he reported feeling unwell and was immediately transferred to the Emergency Center of the Clinical Center of Vojvodina.
Due to his severe health condition, a council of doctors decided to transfer Bolingi to the Institute for Lung Diseases in Sremska Kamenica, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit.
"Thanks to the timely response and care of the doctors and the entire medical staff at the Institute in Sremska Kamenica, Bolingi has successfully recovered and is now undergoing home treatment."
"FK Vojvodina would like to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone at the Institute for Lung Diseases and wish their Jonathan Bolingi a speedy return to the field, so we can together celebrate new victories and his goals," the club's statement reads.
