Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-min faced a unique situation when he couldn't use a fan's phone for a selfie due to a specific clause in his contract.
While on international duty with South Korea, Son engaged with fans despite his packed itinerary. He recently played a full match against Wales, which concluded in a 0-0 draw at Cardiff City Stadium.
Next, the ex-Bayer Leverkusen player is set to compete against Saudi Arabia at Newcastle's St James' Park.
During an interaction, Son was seen posing for photos with fans. Yet, the Premier League Golden Boot winner from 2021/22 couldn't handle a fan's phone because of his endorsement deal with Samsung.
With a gesture of folded hands, he courteously informed the fan about the restriction, assuring he'd still pose if she held her phone. The moment was captured on video.
In July, Son became the face of Samsung's Galaxy brand. He's also been associated with renowned brands like Calvin Klein and TUMI, a premium luggage brand.
