The first player this season to reach 10 goals in Europe's top leagues? A French striker playing for Stuttgart.
Resuming where he left off last year, Serhou Guirassy returned to Stuttgart this summer and immediately resumed his goal-scoring form in the Bundesliga. Currently, after five rounds, he has already netted 10 goals and also scored in his only cup appearance. He played for Stuttgart last season as a loaned player from French club Rennes, and this year he officially became a member of the German top-tier team.
Stuttgart paid only 9 million euros for him, clearly making a great deal, as Guirassy had already proven himself in the previous season. In total, he has now contributed 25 goals and 4 assists in 34 matches across all competitions for his current employers.
Last year, he also made his debut for the Guinea national team, scoring two goals in eight appearances. Clearly, Stuttgart made a brilliant move in the summer transfer market.
The Arles-born striker played in Germany in his younger years, having been a member of Köln for several years, and also played for Lille, Auxerre, and Amiens.
