Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reveals that yesterday Benjamin Šeško once again played a match in front of scouts from European giants, who traveled to Bern specifically to watch him.
Benjamin Šeško is in fantastic form, as evidenced in the past two weeks both in the national team jersey and in the jersey of his club, Leipzig. The 20-year-old Slovenian has scored four goals and provided two assists in the last 154 minutes of play (both for the club and the national team). He achieved this in challenging matches against Northern Ireland in the European Championship qualifiers, against Union Berlin in the Bundesliga, and yesterday against Young Boys in the Champions League.
"It was a tough match, but we made it in the end! Great job, guys, let's move on. I'm happy about my first goal in the Champions League," the youngest-ever goal scorer for Leipzig in the Champions League wrote on Instagram after the match.
After the game, the most famous football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, who has been increasingly closely following the games and career of the hottest Slovenian footballer, also commented.
Romano highlighted that Šeško scored his first Champions League goal and added that Šeško received special attention in the stands yesterday.
"There were many important clubs again in attendance to follow this top talented striker" Romano wrote.
