According to Italian media reports, Napoli's president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, sent an email to the leadership of Al Hilal, making it abundantly clear that Victor Osimhen is not for sale.
The outstanding Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, was on the radar of immensely wealthy clubs in Saudi Arabia this summer, with Al Hilal showing the most interest. They were determined to bring one of the biggest football stars in the world to their team.
Al Hilal was waving money around, but in Napoli's president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, they found a negotiator who was not swayed by even the most extravagant offers. Al Hilal was reportedly willing to pay up to €200 million for Osimhen. Italian portal Tuttomercatweb reveals the contents of the email sent by De Laurentiis to the sheikhs in Saudi Arabia.
"Your offer of €200 million can buy one of Osimhen's legs. I think next year you may be willing to pay €500 million, and then we might consider your offer. I repeat: might," wrote De Laurentiis.
