Luka Ivanušec netted his debut goal for Feyenoord.
The Croatian national team player, in his second appearance for Feyenoord, scored his first goal for the Dutch giants, opening the scoring spree in a 6:1 home victory against Heerenveen in the 5th round match.
In the 12th minute, Ivanušec received the ball on the left wing, dribbled past two defenders, entered the penalty area, and with a precise shot from 15 meters, put Feyenoord in the lead.
Shortly after, Wieffer (16th minute) and Igor Paixao (20th minute) extended the lead to 3:0. Olsson (25th minute) reduced the deficit to 3:1, while Gimenez (60th minute), Minteh (66th minute), and Lingr (72nd minute) set the final score at 6:1.
Ivanušec played until the 71st minute for Feyenoord, which now leads with 11 points. AZ Alkmaar, PSV Eindhoven, and Twente trail by two points but have played two games less. Heerenveen is in 10th place with six points.
