A Manchester United fan fatally stabbed an Arsenal supporter in Western Uganda after a dispute over VAR's decision to disallow a late goal by Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho, following their match where Arsenal won 3-1.
While VAR reviewed an offside goal in the Arsenal vs. Manchester United match at Emirates Stadium in London, an unfortunate incident unfolded in Sheema township, Western Uganda, where an Arsenal supporter lost his life in a stabbing incident involving a Manchester United fan shortly after Arsenal's 3-1 victory.
The police are currently searching for a 22-year-old suspect following a dispute that arose from the English Premier League bout, ultimately leading to this tragic outcome. According to authorities, Jackson Aineruhanga was fatally stabbed after an argument with the suspect, which began in a local video hall as they watched the football match.
The disagreement escalated after Man United's Alejandro Garnacho had a late goal disallowed by VAR, prompting their removal from a bar and culminating in the fatal attack.
Police recovered the suspect's shoes and a blood-stained stick at the scene, and Aineruhanga's body underwent a postmortem examination at Kabwohe Health Centre IV.
