The AC Milan youth academy is witnessing the rapid rise of 15-year-old Francesco Camarda, who many predict will be the future star of Italian and European football.
It's been a long time since a player from Milan's youth ranks has garnered as much attention as Camarda, who has consistently shattered scoring records in the younger categories. Despite his young age, Camarda is already a part of Milan's youth team and recently made his debut in the UEFA Youth League, competing against players three or four years his senior.
His debut was nothing short of spectacular, as he scored two goals in Milan's 4-0 victory over Newcastle, making him the youngest Italian footballer to ever play in the competition. Milan's plan is to offer him his first professional contract, lasting three years, as soon as he turns 16, in accordance with the regulations of the Italian Football Federation.
However, this plan might face challenges. Italian media reports suggest that Camarda has caught the attention of giants from other leagues. Currently, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund, known for their knack for scouting young talents from European powerhouses, are particularly keen on the young prodigy.
